Focussed ABA Therapy

Focused ABA interventions are more short-term and time-limited than comprehensive interventions because they are designed to address specific behavior concerns including aggression.
For example, for an older teen who's primary behavior that is interfering with his school is self-injurious behavior, we would create interventions to reduce this specific behavior.
Focussed therapies are usually a lower number of hours( like 10-15 hours) per week.

Comprehensive ABA refers to treatment of the multiple affected developmental domains, such as cognitive, communicative, social, emotional, and adaptive functioning and maladaptive behaviors that get in the way of learning.
For example, a 3 year old child who has varied challenges will get comprehensive services to help them get ready for pre-K.
Comprehensive services are usually a higher number of hours of service per week (like 30-40 hours).
